Are the 2027 thresholds official?
Not as of September 2026. Creator outlets reported 8,000 watch hours or 20M Shorts views for new applicants from February 1, 2027; YouTube's Help Center still lists 4,000 hours or 10M Shorts views. The tool labels the 2027 figures as reported.
